*The saddest time and season in the life of a farmer is not when he sees a flood coming into his farmland. This is because he knows that his plant cannot be swept away. These plants have grown with such immeasurable depth.  Overtime they have taken root and grown branches no amount of storm or wind or flood can uproot like weeds.

The cause of most farmers’ heart-break is when plants which they have laboured over refuse to grow. Depending on the nature of soil it has been planted in, the corn plant emerges between a period of 7-10 days. Within 2-3 months it grows wider and begins to bring forth fruit ready for harvest.
*Imagine a scenario whereby after this three- year maximum period the farmer comes to check his produce and to his consternation he finds nothing. To worsen the whole situation the plant did not even grow at all.

What do you think will happen to this plant?

What do you think this farmer will do to this Plant?

What do you think may have happened to this plant to cause its state of no growth?
Growth according to the English Dictionary means an increase in size, number, value, or strength.
Biologically speaking it is the act of growing or getting bigger or higher. It can also refer to something that grows or has grown.
Other synonyms for growth are; increase in size, enlargement, expansion, increase, increment,
act of growing, development, maturation, etc.
I once preached on a Christian WhatsApp platform. During the session I made this statement; "If the only evidence of your Christian belief is your religious attire or your attendance in church services then you may not really be growing!
Growth is essential for anyone called by The Lord's Name.
After a man has given his life to Christ (salvation) the next step is discipleship, training, teaching, and learning the ways of The Lord. This is where Spiritual Growth derives from.

It is so heart-breaking that, we find men who have spent 8-10 years in church and there are is no evident sign of growth seen or manifested in them.
Follow me carefully on this as we go through these scriptural illustration from Luke 13:6-9;
Luke 13:6-9;
[6]He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.
[7]Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?
[8]And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:
[9]And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.

These 7 areas of your life should help you to point out or determine if you are growing in your Walk with God;
(1) Your Prayer Life
(2) Your Word Life
(3) Your Character life
(4) Your Love Life.
(5) Your Relationship life (the circles you move with)
(6) Your Secret Life (What you do when no eyes are watching you. Are you living a grace filled life or sinful/addicted Life?
(7) Your Purpose (what are you living for?)

The way of The Spirit is not the way of man
A baby, after birth must be breastfed, immunized, well nourished, before such a baby can grow into an adult. Any baby lacking good nourishment will suffer deficiency and even kwashiorkor.
You don't just give birth and abandon the baby at the hospital without proper care and expect the baby to grow. Just like some people think participating in church activities will cause them to grow automatically. What actually happens is that such a person will be well sounded in religious knowledge and obligations📌
Same thing pertains to a born-again or new birth Christian. Without beholding there is no becoming🔥📌!

You only become like Him (Christ) when you behold Him (Christ) and the more you behold Him(Christ Jesus) the more you become like Him (Christ Jesus). Your daily lifestyle as a believer should be one of consistent beholding and becoming. You ought to live as a believer and that is how we grow in this Kingdom.
Trust you have been blessed by this😍🤝❤..
Join us next week as we delve more into other 5(five) pointers t showing a growing christian.
